PEOPLE AND STORIES BEHIND THE AROMATIC NOTES

Apart from GAUA, which collects plants in a sustainable way and starts in 2022 to plant an ethnobotanical garden in the locality where it is located, there are obviously other materials that are extracted by other people.

 

In Perfumery, it is almost impossible to know who is behind the distillates, extracts and plants inside the packaging. 

 

For GAUA it is extremely important that the plants are worked in a way that preserves the territoriality of the place, and that they maintain the liveliness of the raw material, as well as preserving a cultural legacy in the extract.

 

They are extracted by farmers or communities located mainly in Latin America and Europe, our main origins, and we have chosen them for their sustainability and fair trade work, impossible for a large industrial quantity. 

 

They have a very careful way of extraction, keeping traditions, which brings a great quality to the plant extract, rich in varied molecules with great benefits and a particular aroma of THAT TERRITORY, of THAT LAND, of THEIR TERROIR.

 

This is a way that represents sustainable perfumery.

These are the main notes that bring these aromatological properties to our preparations.
